Oko četrdeset članova sa čitave Poreštine već od 1999 godine okupljeno je u gljivarskom društvu. Dragovoljnim radom svih članova organiziraju se fešte i izložbe. Zbog radnih obveza najčešća druženja su na jesen nakon završetka turističke sezone.
Svake godine Gljivarsko društvo Žurdana organizira i izložbu gljiva .Kada vremenske prilike to dozvole na izložbi se nađe i oko 250-300 vrsta . Izložbu obiđu posjetitelji iz čitave Istre.Izložbu postavljaju sami članovi uz godišnju financijsku potporu Općine Kaštelir Labinci i Upravnog odjela za poljoprivredu, šumarstvo, lovstvo i vodoprivredu Županije Istarske.
Cilj je članova Žurdane ovim stranicama pokazati prirodne ljepote istarskog kraja u koje sigurno spadaju i gljive.Na taj način apelirati i na ekološku svijest svih posjetitelja da pomognu očuvanju i ovih organizama. Associazione micologica ŽURDANA organizza da anni una mostra micologica. L allestimento viene aperto di solito in autunno, dipendentemente dale condizioni climatiche, alla quale aderiscono tutti raccoglitori dell area, che presentano circa 300 speci di funghi che crescono nel Parentino. Si tratta di una mostra molto ben accettata dal grande pubblico, che cresce d annata in annata.

About 12 km from Porec, in a small village Kastelir in time end of October or beginning of November the Mushrooms society Zurdana is Preparing the mushrooms exhibition .
Forests and fields near Porec grow many species of mushrooms. Most of them are eatable and very appreciated like local gastronomical specialty .The most popular is Martincica or Clytocibe geotropa.
The name of the mushroom is
coming from st.Martin because that mushroom grows
around the st.Martins day. Lot of the mushrooms grows in every time of the year when the rain is abounded , even the summer.The most beautiful is Caesars mushroom (Amanita Caesarea) , but since some year ago the law protected that mushrom like specie in extinctions. Very appreciated mushroom is also the King Bolete (Boletus Aureus) that grows in autumn and it is sold on the market.
Among big number of eatable mushrooms people are collecting maybe 10 different kinds and all of them you can enjoy in many local restaurants.
But attention, here are also the very toxic mushrooms like Amanita phalloides and Omphalotus olearius
Mykologische Verein “Zurdana” aus Kastelir - Labinci
Mykologische Verein “Zurdana”organiziert jedes Jahr Mykologische Ausstellung.Pilzsammler und Pilzinteressierte können sich in der Ausstellung ein genaues Bild von den verschiedenen, in Istrien vorkommenden Arten machen, sich über ihren Lebensraum informieren und auch erfahren, ob die Pilzsorten essbar sind oder nicht. Die ausgestellten Pilze werden von den Mitarbeitern des Vereins "ZURDANA" ständig durch frische Pilze ersetzt. Die Ausstellung mit frischen Pilzen wurde oft im vergangenen Jahr organisiert und wurde von über 600 Interessierten besucht
